This trip combines the Razorblades section, exclusively offered by New Mexico River Adventures, with the Taos Box. This is a excellent trip for those looking for a bit more in a overnight trip. The setting for the first day is the Razorblades section Upper Rio Grande Gorge with no road access requiring us to hike in and out of the river. The whitewater today is intense due to its location in an incredibly remote portion of the Gorge. Tonight's camp is on the rim of the canyon in the heart of the Wild Rivers Recreation Area with the spectacular Sangre de Cristo mountains as our backdrop under the stars of the New Mexico skies. There will be ample photo and hiking opportunities directly from camp. The following day takes through possibly the greatest single day of rafting found in the country, the world famous Taos Box. We will finish the trip back at our headquarters where photos will be waiting.
