This class is not only for the professional river guide or the emergency services provider, but also for those who run rivers but need to brush up on their river rescue skills. Graduates of this class are capable of hazard recognition, equipment use, and techniques to coordinate, perform, and supervise a technical rescue. This class involves intensive rope work and management, as well as search, rescue and/or recovery operations.
